We Find Ourselves… Waiting

I finally got down to reading We Find Ourselves, the 15th volume of The Walking Dead. As I wrote here, I was really looking forward to having it under my Christmas tree as my little personal zombie treat, but the date of publication has been postponed several times. Strangely, Amazon is still listing the book as “not yet published”, but well, I have it right here :-)

But what about the story?

I’m not quite sure what to say about it. I’m a huge fan of The Walking Dead, always excited about every single issue. This one was great, but I somehow found it rather short and incomplete. I don’t have the feeling the story made much of a progress. Some story lines were resumed, some new ones were initiated. Still, on the whole it felt just like a transition from the previous to the following volume. Like it was only meant to connect past and future story lines without having too much content itself.

And so I find myself… waiting for the next volume :-)
